"Where do you get a free iPad?" is a frequent Google search. You aren't the only out there who is looking to get an Apple fix! There are a lot of us virtually right along side of you. But you don't necessarily have to stand in line. But, more about that later.
Along with my Powerbook and iPod (haven't got the iPhone yet because of my movable plan), I am looking to place my latest addition to my tool family. Sure, I know what they say, that the iPad is nothing more than a big iPod. I don't know about you, but, I want a big iPod. Who doesn't? I mean, that's just "crazy talk", as an old fried of mine says.

Well, friends, the iPad is just that. In fact, it's 5 times bigger than the iPod touch and that's a lot of screen real estate, right? And, as you would expect from Apple, the display is crystal clear with very puny color distortion from even the extreme angles. Beautiful. But, what else does it have...?
First, let's talk about the screen. Well, it's black glass. looking at this clear black discontinue while keeping it in your hands I swear will raise your heart rate in expectation of something amazing.
When the screen for real comes alive with the content of your choice, you notice that Apple has foreseen, the position of your thumbs. And what they have done is wrap the screen with what's called a "bezel", or margin. This allows you to hold it without having your thumbs obscure the actual content display.
Just like it's older, yet smaller, sibling, just a single 'Home' button is seen on the front. It has sort of a curved back that will remind you of the iPhone 3g and 3gs that is made from aluminum. This gives it a for real flat feel.
So, what can you do with an iPad?, Well, just about anyone that you would want to. I did say "just about". With the large screen, it's a satisfaction to watch all those movies again that you have on iTunes.
There is also a dedicated YouTube application that let's you do all the same things that you do on YouTube. But, this YouTube app is faster than the actual website and it doesn't serve up any advertisements. That's a big plus.
And, naturally, the sound potential is the bomb. But, you have to get your own headphones, because for some strange reason, they are not included in the iPad package. I would spring for potential if I were you.
There is a ton of other fun stuff that can be done with the iPad. Photos, surfing the web, entrance to the iTunes store. There is adequate to keep any Apple junkie like me happy. But, is there more?
Sure is. Email access. Calendar. You know, for your firm or logical side. And like the iTouch, there are the Notes, for jotting down all that prominent stuff you need to remember when you for real get back to work!!
So where do you get a free iPad? There are online programs that for real give them away for free. However, there is generally a catch to these types of programs. Typically, there are a few steps that you need to go through before they pack your iPad up and send it to you free of charge.
These steps may be something like taking an online seek or maybe signing up for a trial offer of something. There are some programs that only ask you to share the free trial with a few friends. It for real depends on which program you find, you know?
So, is it worth it? For an Apple junkie who wants a free iPad, it probably is. In fact, many iPads, iPhones, and even MacBooks are being given away freely and shipped to individuals on a daily basis plainly because they have gone through the process of applying for one. There's no hypothesize why you couldn't do the same thing.
